On South Main Street since 2015

I opened Bramble in 2015, after six years making coffee in other people’s shops in Ithaca and Rochester. Most weekday mornings I’m still the one on the espresso machine until 10.

Lantern Hill, a roaster in Rochester, roasts our beans every Monday, and we brew them that week. Everything in the pastry case comes from Sweetfern Bakery in Fairport, and everything else is made here.

What customers say

Priya knew my order by my third visit. The maple latte is worth the drive from Penfield.

I work from the long table two mornings a week. Plenty of outlets, quick Wi-Fi, and nobody rushes you out.

We pick up a box of coffee and a dozen pastries for soccer Saturdays. It’s ready when they say it will be, every time.

The best pour-over in the village. On weekends the line reaches the door by 9, so I go early.

The bacon, egg and cheddar on an English muffin is the breakfast sandwich I measure all the others against.
